+ History — Overview

According to the Research Leader Kåre Moberg from The Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship, high-growth entrepreneurship is typically found within male-dominated sectors. Women are much less likely to become entrepreneurs, also in gender-equal societies.

(Tonoyan et al., 2019).

‘Exposure to female entrepreneurs can reduce women’s stereotypical self-perception and demystify the process of becoming and being an entrepreneur.’ (Beaman et al., 2012; Eble & Hu, 2019; Kofoed & McGovney, 2019; Pryor et al., 2016).

We – and future generations – no matter what gender we identify as, need more role models of contemporary inclusive, feminine wisdom and bravery in action. Furthermore, we need to investigate the subtle layers of cause and effect concerning this matter to be able to ask the right questions. Yet, this is an unfinished chapter to be continued.

What we actually can do right now is support ourselves and each other in every possible way. Let’s do it! Fearlessly, unapologetically.
